We are a locally owned family business and understand the lawn care needs of our customers. Fertilization and weed control services can help manicure your property and compliment your home in Toledo area with a beautiful, healthy lawn. Studies show that a maintained lawn helps reduce erosion, trap pollutants and increase property value, among other things. Results can be seen in as little as a month, though some lawns may require 1 - 2 years of service if soil correction or severe lack of nutrients are the reason your lawn has not responded to fertilization or nutrient care in the past.

A beautiful lawn requires a few steps to reach its full potential: granular fertilizer to feed to plant, broadleaf weeds need to be eradicated and sometimes soil needs PH or nutrients corrected. Our 5 step lawn care program offers weed control throughout the season to keep unwanted broadleaf weeds out of the lawn so your turf is not competing with them for moisture or nutrients. Additional fertilizer is recommended to give your grass needed nutrients for cell development (the plant bounces back from stresses faster) and root development (your lawn will thicken up in the thin areas) as well as nitrogen to aid in leaf growth and color. These nutrients will also help your lawn naturally keep weeds from encroaching over time. You can feel confident knowing when a team member of GSI is servicing your lawn; they will be in uniform and in a company truck. We use industry leading equipment, quality products and are licensed in the State of Ohio and Michigan.
Additional Services:
We go beyond just fertilization and weed control. Aeration and seeding (ideally done in late summer/early fall), insect controls for turf and landscape, disease control, soil additives, organic fertilizer, moss control, tree and shrub nutrient boosters, deep root feeding services and much more!
